FIELD: accident control at nuclear power stations. SUBSTANCE: liquid-cooled device installed in reactor cavity is made in the form of crucible whose walls and bottom are spaced apart from surrounding structure; mounted in its spacing clearance are device cooling facilities communicating with cooling liquid tank; they are made in the form of sections that function to form jets of cooling liquid conveyed to crucible wall through gap formed between sections and crucible walls.
