FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has two pelvis supports made in the form of arced members or planks, located in parallel and interconnected by plank. Curved wire and reverse thrust rod are fixed on each support. Thigh support is positioned so as to be fixed and moved relative to pelvis supports. Two rod-type retainers are fixed to thigh support. Apparatus of such construction allows coxofemoral joint to be recovered by reliable retaining of head of the femur in swivel slot without restricting motion of animal's limb joint. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 7 cl, 2 dwg
