FIELD: diffusion welding of products having web and flange. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preparing free deformation zones on flange in such a way that spacing from web to free deformation zone is equal to 1-2 maximum thickness values of web end. Depth of free deformation zone is equal to 0.5-0.8 of flange height. Web and flange normal to it are placed with preliminary compression between restricting members of fitting. Joining zone is heated up to welding temperature. After compression of web and flange isothermal heating is performed. Free ends of flange do not act upon edges of web. It provides stable geometry of web. EFFECT: enhanced strength of welded joint. 2 cl, 1 tbl, 1 dwg
