HARD PUTTY Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: building materials industry, more particularly preparation of surfaces of building, preferably concrete and plastered members. SUBSTANCE: hard putty comprises synthetic latex, surfactant, thickener, chalk and water. Surfactant is product of treatment of mono- and dialkylphenols with ethylene oxide; hard putty further comprises dispersant, coalescent, biocidal additive, foam suppressor, plasticizer, antiomony trioxide, alkali, antifreeze, talc, quartz sand and quartz meal, ratio of components being as follows, wt %: synthetic latex, 5-30; surfactant, 0.1-1.5; thickener, 0.05-1.5; dispersant, 0.1-1.5; coalescent, 0.05-3.0; antifreeze, 0.5-5.0; biocidal additive, 0.01-1; foam suppressor, 0.01-1; plasticizer 0.05-5; antimony trioxide 3.0-5.0; alkali, 0.05-5; chalk, 30-70; talc, 0-20; quartz sand, 0-20; quartz meal 0-25; and water, the balance. Hard putty has high adhesion to surface being treated, it is water resistant and has prolonged service life. EFFECT: improved properties of the hard putty. 7 tbl
