FIELD: construction engineering; repair-and-recovery operations for leveling pile foundations of buildings and structures. SUBSTANCE: method includes leveling of building or structure in position; to this end soil at foundation foot is alternately frozen and defrosted; and building or structure is secured in position. Novelty is that alternate soil freezing and defrosting is effected within layer of seasonal soil frost penetration around piles while leveling position of building or structure using pile foundation. Mentioned piles are bulged to extent greater than difference between maximal and minimal bulge of foundation piles. Soil is frozen around piles bulged to extent greater than mentioned difference below depth of seasonal soil frost penetration with bottom ends of mentioned piles being restrained in frozen soil to eliminate their subsequent bulging; building is secured in position after its leveling. EFFECT: enhanced intensity of leveling pile foundation; improved quality and reliability of building or structure. 6 cl
