FIELD: water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: graduating tower has contact reservoir and guarding constructions positioned above reservoir. Head positioned within guarding constructions is made in the form of netted fabric panels fastened on frame structures positioned at an angle of 80-85 deg. Netted fabric panels facilitate attachment of microorganisms providing biochemical destruction of metabolizable ferroorganic compounds and dissolved gases. Graduating tower is further provided with fan, basic water supplying and dispersing system and treated water intaking system. Such construction allows ground water difficult for treatment to be processed and organic compounds to be prevented from penetration into water pipeline. As a result, biological corrosion is excluded and production of highly toxic chlororganic compounds in the process of disinfecting water with chlorine to be eliminated. Graduating tower is used for treating ground water containing stable ferroorganic complex compounds and corrosive gases to produce potable water. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced operating costs. 1 dwg
