FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves hydrolysis of substance sample that is carried out in concentrated acetic acid. Obtained solution is treated with a mixture of concentrated sulfuric acid and nitric acid taken in the volume ratio 1:1 at 20-25 C for 60-65 min followed by treatment with sodium hydroxide an aqueous solution (concentration is 20-25%) and optical density of obtained solution is measured at wavelength 400 nm.
