FIELD: disintegration of hard materials. SUBSTANCE: disintegration is realized due to rolling disintegrated hard material being in contact with curvilinear supporting surface of housing, with a large number of milling bodies of revolution placed in retainer of rotor in direction from upwards to downwards. A large number of separate circular flows of air or other gas are generated between retainer of rotor and curvilinear supporting surface in order to provide distribution of disintegrated hard material along the whole disintegration zone in the form of uniform-thickness layer along the whole motion path of milling bodies of revolution. In upper end of rotor under upper inlet duct there is round open reservoir for guiding initial hard material in the form of uniform annular flow into gap between retainer and curvilinear supporting surface for its further disintegration in zones of action of said circular flows of air or other gas. Disintegration process is performed at optimal temperature. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, increased useful life period of apparatus, improved quality of ready product, lowered energy consumption. 10 cl, 9 dwg
