FIELD: construction of bridge roadways and overpasses. SUBSTANCE: bridge roadways and overpasses have broken-stone filled movement joints at connection of spans, those with piers, and at approach sections of embankments with adapter slab. Novelty is that broken-stone fill is enclosed in roving glass- fabric shell with steel-fiber-concrete distributing slab on top. Broken-stone placed in shell may be impregnated with water-repelling flexible material. EFFECT: enhanced service life and repairability of joint; facilitated movement over bridge roadway joints. 2 cl, 1 dwg
