FIELD: metallurgy; equipment for sintering sinter burden in production of sinter. SUBSTANCE: sintering machine includes framework, head and relief sprockets, upper and lower guide runs with sintering bogies located on them. Sintering machine includes also intermediate sprocket thrown into engagement with rollers of sintering bogies of upper run. Intermediate sprocket is mounted above upper guide run and is located at distance equal to 0.33 to 0.36 of pitch diameter of intermediate sprocket relative to vertical plane passing through axis of rotation of relief sprocket. Near-by rollers of adjacent sintering bogies are alternately engageable with one of teeth of intermediate sprocket and distance between lines of contact is equal to 1.2-1.5 of distance between near-by opposite generatrices of rollers of adjacent sintering bogies. EFFECT: reduced wear of end surfaces of sintering bogies. 1 dwg
