FIELD: oil industry, spouting production of oil with high gas factor. SUBSTANCE: well-head and hole clearance pressure in well are measured, oil pipe- lined is open with rise of at least one of these pressures to proper upper limiting value, oil pipe-line is shut off with fall of at least one of these pressures to proper lower limiting value. Limiting values of well-head and hole clearance pressures are chosen from condition of formation of optimum face pressure securing maximum discharge of well and output of pool. Gear for realization of method has shut- off element mounted in oil pipe-line. Pressure transducer communicates with hole clearance of well and with shut-off element via control unit. There is pressure transducer connected to oil pipe-line and coupled to shut-off element via control unit. Gear opens oil pipe-line with the use of shut-off element with rise of at least one of measured pressures to upper limiting value and shuts off oil pipe-line with fall of one of measured pressures to lower limiting value. EFFECT: provision for maintenance of optimum face pressure with maximum discharge of well and oil extraction from pool with simultaneous prevention of hazard of failure of system controlling operation of well. 6 cl, 1 dwg
