FIELD: search for oil, gas and gas condensate deposits. SUBSTANCE: large geological circular structures ( GCS ), that is macro GCS, are isolated on investigated oil and gas-bearing area within bounds of gigantic GCS-nuclear or mega GCS by aerospace and ground photographic, geophysical, geochemical and biogeochemical surveys. Mesa, mini and micro GCS are exposed within their boundaries. From number of found GCS there are determined GCS whose size and number conform to equation of genetic series, that is, ordered GCS. Attention is paid to those GCS from selected GCS of least significant order which fall within limits of GCS of higher order. GCS of different size or order so exposed are matched to known developed or prospected hydrocarbon deposits as well as to zones of geophysical, geochemical and biogeochemical anomalies. Affiliation of known hydrocarbon deposits to these or other GCS is exposed and search and prospecting holes are drilled on sections of crossing of boundaries of ordered GCS promising from view point of oil and gas-bearing capacity, predominantly on sections of crossing of boundaries of mesa and mini GCS. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of forecast of oil and gas-bearing capacity of investigated area, decreased financial expenses, material usage and labor input into search and prospecting for hydrocarbon deposits. 2 dwg
