FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying thiamazol (mercasolyl). The preparation is introduced as a single daily dose of 5-50 mg/kg of rat body mass during 21 days. The preparation is introduced into the stomach as aqueous starch suspension. EFFECT: enabled spontaneous thyroid gland function restoration; retained functional disorder for the time required for therapeutic effect to be achieved.
