FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: cutterbar has fingers and cutter with drive. Each finger is made from spring sheet steel and is composed of base and top section. Finger base is mounted on lower surface of finger bar and is equipped with shoulders, tip made in the form of isosceles trapezium and bent upward, and surface on which shear plate is set and fixed. Finger top section is mounted on upper surface of finger bar and is equipped with trough-shaped trapezoidal tip bent in downward direction. Tip of finger base is accommodated in trough-shaped tip of finger top section and fixed in it by shoulders relative to its side faces. Height of bent portion of finger base tip provides minimum clearance in cutterbar. EFFECT: increased efficiency by stabilized quality of cereal shear surface. 2 cl, 2 dwg
