ELECTRIC DERATIZATOR AND ELECTROLYZED BARRIER FOR DERATIZATOR Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: means for exterminating various rodents. SUBSTANCE: electric deratizator has electrolyzed body 22 of barrier made of dielectric material that carries contact line electrode 21, power supply system incorporating diode 1, charging resistor 2, power capacitor 3 and time setting unit 4 connected in series and linked to primary power supply source 6 via two-pole contactor 5. Circuit composed of primary winding 7 of high-voltage transformer and controlled electron key 8 is connected in parallel to power capacitor 3. Secondary winding 9 of this transformer is connected with one lead to primary winding 7 and with lead 10 - electrodes 21 and to (n-1) additional identical circuits. System is equipped with former 11 of bursts of control pulses whose input 12 is coupled to output 13 of unit 4 and outputs of former 11 are connected to controllable leads-out of proper electron keys. Deratirizer is fitted with source 14 of stabilized power supply of former 11 and with device decreasing thermal losses. Body 22 of barrier comes in the form of profiled extended flexible body of constant cross-section with longitudinal grooves: 21 accommodating electrodes, 25 accommodating flexible fixtures, 24 forming springy gripper and 26, 27 providing stability to high-voltage puncture. Body 22 is manufactured predominantly from elastic thermosoftening plastic materials by extrusion, casting or stamping, electrode 21 can be made of any current conductive material.
