SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out electric cardiosignal digital filtration under low frequency bandwidth filter cut-off threshold being equal to 100 Hz when recording the cardiosignal. Electric cardiosignal energy function E(T) values during the first several seconds are calculated for determining Emax value. Next to it, the values are calculated at every point and compared to the Emax value. E(T)>0.4Emax being the case, anterior R-tooth front is identified. R-tooth peak is determined from (Y(i)- Y(i-1))* (Y(i+1)- Y(i)) <0 condition. (Y(i+1)- Y(i))=0 being satisfied, the first part of the product (Y(i)- Y(i-1)) is saved in memory and is not calculated at the next point. After the R-tooth peak is identified, the following 0.186 s long time interval is not analyzed for letting the posterior front of the R-tooth pass. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of the method when operating in real-time mode; lower number of unrecognized R-teeth.
