FIELD: cleaning waste water from sulfides in oil production and oil refining; leather-shoe industry and other chemical enterprise. SUBSTANCE: method consists in electrochemical treatment of waste water at electrode current density of 67-100 mA/sq.cm with the use of consumable iron anode made from iron scrap. Sediment of ferrous sulfide is settled and separated.
