PILE AND METHOD FOR ITS DRIVING INTO GROUND Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering; building foundations from pre-fabricated piles including grounding stakes. SUBSTANCE: pile that can be driven into non-subsiding and subsiding grounds followed by reinforcement of ground by electric treatment upon its installation has bore pointed at one end, cap at other end, and expanded section with ledge closed around bore. Novelty is that pile is provided with at least one elongated projection made on side surface of expanded section; one end of projection is pointed and faces pointed bore end. Converged section closed around bore may also directly abut against expanded section on the side of cap; in case of driving bore into non-subsiding ground layer expanded section ledge is spaced from pointed end through distance exceeding or at least equaling rated depth of driving. Method for driving pile into ground involves bore driving into ground and filling gap with liquid material. Novelty in method is that blind area is made before bore clearance is formed and fluid material is introduced into blind area; at least bottom part of blind area is arranged in clay soil to prevent air-suction into clearance while pile is driven into ground. Bore clearance may be filled with antifriction and/or hardening, and/or current-conducting liquid material. EFFECT: reduced cost. 5 cl, 2 dwg
