FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and is intended for fixing the soil of the slopes of coastal lines and canal beds, during the construction of road pavements, during the reinforcement of slopes, in the transport, hydrotechnical branches of construction, where high and stable indicators of strength and durability of erected structures are required. Geogrid for reinforcement of slopes and slopes is made of flexible polymer strips, which are made of polyethylene and connected to each other by welded seams in staggered order, and seams are located vertically relative to ribs of strips. Strips are rectangular and are connected with an offset during welding relative to each other by a value which depends on the angle of inclination of the slope, as well as the pitch of the geogrid — the length of the cell. Between strips in place of welding there are connecting plates with length equal to width of strip plus double value of strips displacement relative to each other. Plates are made of high-pressure polyethylene, and strips are made of low-pressure polyethylene.

EFFECT: providing connection of strips with offset during welding relative to each other by value depending on slope inclination angle, increased strength of weld joint due to increased length of welded seam, provision of stability of geometrical parameters of strip and geogrid design.
