FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: device designed for generating and shaping high- power microwave pulses primarily used in radar stations and laboratory installations for studying effect of electromagnetic radiation on electronic equipment has storage resonator incorporating exciter, two waveguide sections, and output waveguide. Essential novelty is that two waveguide sections are arranged in parallel and have common longitudinal wall, their butt-end shorting-walls lie in same plane, open ends form common open end with waveguide joined to the latter coaxially to sections, exciter is made in the form of waveguide T-bend with longitudinal wall of its symmetrical arms joined to butt-end walls of sections, and common coupling apertures are made in them. All these measures provide for enlarging cross-sectional area of waveguides forming resonator output arrangement. EFFECT: enhanced maximum output pulse power. 1 dwg
