FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: bactericide has ferric ions (Fe3+) and one or more components of the group consisting of sorbic acid, benzoic acid and p- hydroxybenzoic acid esters. By another variant the bactericide has ferric ions (Fe3+), L-ascorbic acid and one or more components of the group consisting of sorbic acid, benzoic acid or p-hydroxybenzoic acid esters. By the third variant the bactericide has ferric ions, sorbic acid, benzoic acid and L-ascorbic acid. Invention provides to obtain the bactericide exhibiting the high usefulness degree and showing effect with respect to pathogenic bacteria but safe for humans and soil. Invention can be used for sterilization of hands, wounds, fittings, tools, subjects and crude foodstuffs before their heat treatment.
