FIELD: manufacture of lighting device of liquid- crystal display panels. SUBSTANCE: the baffle plate has a film base with a reflecting paint coating applied onto its surface. The coating consists of a mixture of polymeric binder - copolymer of (met) acrylates with particles in the form of hollow microspheres with a diameter of 0.05 to 10 μm, the relation between the inside and outside diameters being within 0.2 to 0.9. The relationship of polymer: particles, mass by weight - 100:(20-800). The mean coefficient of passage of copolymer of (met) acrylates is at least 80% within the range of wavelengths from 400 to 800 nm, the glass transition temperature is (-75)-30 C. The coating thickness is within 10 to 100 μm. The coating may additionally contain a white inorganic pigment, for instance, TiO2. The pigment may be applied onto the base surface at a distance from the reflecting layer. The coating is obtained by application of the mixture onto the film base with a subsequent drying at a temperature of at least 90C. The temperature must not exceed the base melting point or the softening temperature. The reflecting layer brightness is within 113 to 121 relative units.
