METHOD OF DEVELOPMENT OF OIL DEPOSIT WITH NONUNIFORM STRATIFIED FORMATIONS WITH HELP OF CONTROL OVER FIELDS OF PRESSURES Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: oil producing industry, particularly, methods of development of oil deposits with nonuniform stratified formations with the help of control over fields of pressures. SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary determination of permeability, porosity, thickness of each parting, viscosity of displacement agent and displaced fluid, initial and final saturation with displacement agent; calculation of modified functions of relative phase permeability, fluid displacement agent; construction of field of initial oil saturation, permeability and thickness of each parting with subsequent control over filtration flows formed in development of oil deposits with nonuniform formations; and recommendations of performance of definite engineering geological measures. Additionally researched are elastic properties of displacement agent and displaced fluid, and porous media for compressibility. Additionally collected is field engineering information on operation of each well and information on measurements of formation and bottom-hole pressures. On the basis of collected information, mathematical modelling of filtration process is performed with acceptable degree of coincidence of rated and actual technological parameters, and on the basis of mathematical modelling, fields of average formation pressure are constructed for definite dates. Revealed by constructed fields are dead zones, zones of high and low formation pressures. Volumes of displacement agent injection and fluid withdrawal are regulated. Groups of wells for which there is no information on their formation pressures for definite date are additionally separated and said information is restored on basis of mathematical modelling.
