METHOD OF CONTROL OVER OIL DEPOSIT DEVELOPMENT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves additional research of elastic properties of displacement agent and displaced fluid and porous medium for compressibility; gathering of field production process data on operation of each well. On the basis of gathered data, mathematical modelling of filtration process is performed with acceptable degree of coincidence of rated and actual production process parameters and construction of mathematical model of selected region of oil pool. On the basis of constructed mathematical model for definite dates, maps of isobars and pressures gradients fields are constructed and sections of maximum area with slightly varied in time boundaries are determined and with minimum fluid consumption through vertical section. In the second version, additional data on geological structure of formation are gathered. On the basis of gathered data, map of hydraulically associated regions of formation is constructed together with maps of isobars and pressure gradient fields, and also permeability field is constructed by mathematical model.
