FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: method is based on conduction of geophysical investigations of wells, determination of formation pressure in them, construction of pressure fields and selection of districts for application of methods of increase of oil recovery on basis of combined analysis of reservoir state charts. Additionally determined are viscosities of oil and water, relative phase permeability of oil and water by results of nonstationary researches. Vector and scalar fields of filtration rate are constructed. Districts non-connected hydrodynamically are determined by fields of filtration rates and permeability. Calculated for each district are values of function of desirability of application of methods of oil recovery increase by multidimentional equation of its dependence on number of producing and injection wells, permeability, horizon and zone heterogeneity, degree of development, drowing and fluid production rate of district wells. Application of methods of oil recovery increase is recommended for districts hydrodynamically not connected in order of diminishing of desirability function. EFFECT: increased efficiency of method due to fuller and formalized consideration of parameters characterizing processes occurring in porous media. 1 dwg, 3 tbl
