FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine oil cooler has cooling tubes connected with oil inlet and outlet tubes. Cooling tubes are made arc-shaped and are installed coaxially. Oil cooler serves simultaneously as engine fan guard. It has special members for rigidly fixing cooling tubes and fastening oil cooler to fan housing. Cooling tube of minimum radius forms axially symmetric space for fan shaft of internal combustion engine. Oil inlet and outlet tubes are provided with inputs and outputs pointed either to different sides or to one side. Invention precludes getting of foreign matters on rotating blades of fan, cuts down metal usage and labor input in manufacture of engine fan guard using oil cooler for this purpose. EFFECT: providing of compact design of engine plants by reducing their length. 3 dwg
