FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying transverse and longitudinal transverse traction by catching muscles attached to the vertebrae and expanding them in prescribed directions. The muscles are caught and stretched by acting upon the adjacent area with vacuum sucking disk with perforated elastic flexible membrane. The vacuum sucking disk operation is carried out in pulsating mode with pulse repetition frequency being equal to 0.1-1 Hz with rarefaction inside of the sucking disk varying in the range of 5 to 78 kPa. Before performing vertebral column traction operation, an additional active tissue hyperemia operation is carried out in the traction area. It is carried out by pulsating action of local negative pressure applied to the corresponding areas of back skin. The traction being over, smoothing and position stabilization operation is carried out by means of double symmetrically consecutive application of the vacuum sucking disks to the paravertebral areas of the lumbosacral and thoracic segments of the vertebral column. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 7 cl, 4 dwg
