FIELD: silicon organic chemistry; industry technology of direct synthesis of methyl chlorosilanes widely used for production of silicone rubber, silicone resins, enamels, dressing compositions, lubricants and hydraulic fluids. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists is separation by involving the component-silicon tetrachloride into reaction with tetraethoxysilane; process is conducted in presence of oxacyclanes (cyclic ethers), for example, tetrahydrofurane, 1,4-1,4-dioxane or ehabol. Output of trimethyl chlorosilane of 99-% purity is 50 to 80%. Ethoxychlorosilanes may be returned to technological cycle by esterifying with ethyl alcohol to tetraethoxysilane or may be converted to respective ethoxypolysiloxans.
