FIELD: railway transport; power supply equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention is designed for use in power dc/ac conversion circuits. Device has current receiver, choke, converter with A, B, C phase conversion units, PLUS and MINUS poles circuit capacitors, converter control unit, converter parameters intelligent sensor, electric motor instantaneous position intelligent sensor with ballast resistor, converter and electric motor parameters comparator unit, threshold devices unit, two switching units of balancing capacitors and discharge resistors, two banks of balancing capacitors and two banks of discharge resistors. Device provides operative protection against self-excitation and hunting of induction motor at initial stage and several times reduces changes of voltage, current and frequency in stator circuit. EFFECT: reduced requirements to circuit isolation, improved conditions of motor control, increased service life of equipment. 2 dwg
