FIELD: water treatment equipment used in petroleum chemical industry, mechanical engineering, motor transport and other branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has at least one biofilter, settler, circulating pump, spraying system, and sediment collector. Biofilter has cylindrical housing. Ring gear with lower toothed edge is mounted inside cylindrical housing on at least two rotating supports and on toothed wheel, which is positioned for rotation on drive shaft. Water intaking pipe is secured through tie-rods on pivot joints of ring gear. Scrapers are fixed to water intaking pipe. Apparatus of such construction may be used in management of closed cycle water supply system, when sewage water is cleaned from petroleum and petroleum-containing products, as well as from suspended particles.
