FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of effluents, particularly, to biological treatment and may be used for separating organic and suspended substances, nitrogen, phosphorus and other impurities from household and industrial effluents. Proposed plant comprises biofilter with flat loading, systems to feed and discharge purified waters, spraying system, purified water collector, sediment collecting tank and circulation pump communicated with spraying system. Biofilter comprises settling container accommodating revolving sediment discharger. Note here that circulation pump is communicated with purified water collector. Settling container comprises device to divert liquid phase of treated water into purified water collector while said discharger comprises scraper mechanism to discharge solid phase of treated water from settling container. Intake device comprises branch pipe rigidly fitted at settling container center with clearance relative to bottom while scraper mechanism includes scraper and drive with cog mechanism to make scraper revolve about said branch pipe.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
