FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of gas-phase polymerization realized in two interlinked polymerization zones where one or more of α-olefins of the general formula CH2= CHR are fed in the presence of catalyst under reaction conditions and the end polymeric product is unloaded from these zones. Growing polymeric particles pass through the first polymerization zone under conditions of rapid fluidization, get out from indicated first zone and feed to the second polymerization zone. They pass through the second polymerization zone in thickened form under gravity force and added again to the first polymerization zone making so polymer circulation through two zones of polymerization. Method ensures to polymerize olefins in gaseous phase with high productivity per unit of reactor volume and excluding problems associated with technology of fluidizing layer. Method provides versatility of process, parameters can be optimized based on indices of catalyst and the end product and they are not limited by physical-chemical properties of liquid mixtures of reaction components. EFFECT: improved method of polymerization, broadened assortment of product. 34 cl, 3 dwg, 2 ex
