MASHING-WORT BOILING-FILTERING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: brewing industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical vessel with spherical bottom, mixing device with electric engine, charging hatch and processing branch pipes. Apparatus combines constructions and functions of mashing, wort boiling and filtering devices and is equipped with filtering member made in the form of rotary perforated cylinder. Hollow shaft with drilled air purging openings is mounted inside perforated cylinder. The latter is equipped with additional false bottom provided with air supplying openings. Such construction allows mashing and boiling of wort with hops to be intensified by rotation of filtering member and supplying of air flows via shaft and false bottom openings, and brewer's wort fermentation time to be reduced by saturating it with air oxygen. Apparatus of such construction is preferably used in small brewing plants. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced space occupied by process equipment, reduced labor consumption for maintenance and repair works. 3 cl, 1 dwg
