SUBSTANCE: iron bottom has cast heating plate 1 with peripheral edge 4 of triangular profile which defines acute portion 6 and foot 8, metal ironing plate 10 of respective shape having acute portion 12 and foot 14, inner surface 16, outer surface 20 and high edge 24 extending along sides of peripheral edge 4 of heating plate 1 and provided with members for attachment to peripheral edge 4. High edge 24 is secured to at least front part of acute portion of ironing plate 12 by means of preformed rounded edge 26 adapted for receiving of acute portion 6. At least one hook 28 fixed adjacent to foot 14 is adapted for attaching the latter on foot 8. Ironing surface is formed by covering 22 made on outer surface 20.
