FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; oil systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed oil pump drive has gear 1 of crankshaft 2, gear 3 of oil pump 4 cantilever mounted on its drive shaft and intermediate gear 5 arranged between gears 1 and 3. Oil pump 4 is fastened on engine crankcase 7 by means of spacer 8 with two bores 9 and 11. Spacer 8 is centered on axle 6 of intermediate gear 5 by its bore 9. Gear 5 is cantilever mounted on end face wall of engine crankcase. Oil pump is centered in other bore 11 of spacer 8. Axis-to-axis distance between bores 9 and 11 is equal to axis-to-axis distance between intermediate gear 5 and gear 3 of oil pump 4. Spacer 8 of engine crankcase 7 and oil pump 4 of spacer 8 can be installed in minimum two positions at vertical and horizontal make of engine. Spacer 8 turns around axle 6 of intermediate gear 5 relative to crankcase 7. Oil pump 4 turns around its axle relative to spacer 8. EFFECT: simplified design of oil pump drive, provision of unification of oil pump mounting at vertical and horizontal makes of engine, high manufacturability and ease of assembling. 2 cl, 3 dwg
