MOUNTING UNIT OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AUXILIARIES Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed mounting unit has crankcase 1, crankshaft 2 with gear 3, idler gear 4 installed on end face of crankcase 1 and two auxiliary sets with gears 9 and 15 engaging with idler gear 4. Outer auxiliary set is fastened by its flange 120 from outside of engine, and second auxiliary set is installed inside the engine on spacer- shackle 13 with two holes. Spacer 13 is aligned on axle 5 of idler gear 4 by means of one hole. Second auxiliary set is aligned by means of second hole of spacer. Spacer 13 and flange 10 of outer auxiliary set have overlapping section 16 on which attachment is done by common bolts 17 driven through spacer 13 and wall of crankcase 1 into flange 10 of outer auxiliary set.
