FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device includes detector-humidity converter, compactor, electric measurement circuit. Humidity converter has three electrodes, one common and two external, it is made of dielectric material and comes in the form of rectangular vessel divided into three sections, first and second sections to take in tested substance and third section is filled with material with dielectric permittivity equal to dielectric permittivity of tested material. Three electrodes of detector-humidity converter are connected to bridge circuit. Electric circuit incorporates generator, bridge circuit, matching unit connected in series. Primary digital processing unit, microcontroller and indicator are connected in series and placed in electric circuit. Input of primary digital processing unit is connected to output of matching unit. Temperature compensation unit whose output is connected to input of primary digital processing unit is placed in electric circuit of device. All components of device are housed in one case, electrodes of converter come in the form of flat metal plates, elements of electric circuit are assembled on one board. Compactor is located above window of detector. EFFECT: simplified measurement process with increased accuracy and productivity. 1 dwg
