FIELD: automatic measurement of humidity of gaseous atmosphere, specifically, at atomic and steam power plants, both in statics and in flows. SUBSTANCE: capacitive humidity sensor has current-conducting plates and humidity absorbing layer. It is proposed to manufacture humidity absorbing layer from sheet filtering material impregnated with carbonates of alkali metals, current- conducting plates of sensor to be housed in sealed dielectric jacket, sensor to be provided with two humidity absorbing layers placed on both sides of current- conducting plates and sheet filtering material to be pressed against current-conducting plates by lattice strap. EFFECT: simplified manufacture and operation of sensor, reduced cost of sensor due to decreased cost of material. 2 cl, 3 dwg
