FIELD: nuclear power engineering; recovery of liquid wastes of nuclear power stations. SUBSTANCE: method involves evaporation of liquid radioactive wastes in evaporators, cooling secondary- steam condensate, cleaning and desalting the latter in filters. Some portion of desalted condensate (desalted water) is concentrated while passing it many times through evaporating cooling tower and heat-transfer apparatus and through bypass decontamination system to remove radionuclides. Secondary- steam condensers and standard liquid-waste recovery coolers are used to function as heat-transfer apparatus and standard liquid-waste recovery system, as bypass decontamination system. Proposed method provides for minimizing emission of radionuclides into environment. EFFECT: improved environmental situation around nuclear power plant. 3 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
