FIELD: catalyst production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing catalyst used for destruction of ozone in processes where ozone is involved, in particular in water conditioning, waste water treatment, treatment of semiconductors in electronic industry, sterilization in medicine and disinfecting in agriculture, etc. Catalyst is prepared by mixing manganese dioxide and copper oxide with bentonite clay followed by granulation, drying, grinding, and heat treatment of granules at 450-750 C.
