FIELD: plastic metal working at making tubes with helical corrugations. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes shaping rollers arranged in casing around its lengthwise axis with inclination relative to said axis and mounted with possibility of rotation around their own axes, unit for moving tubes at working. Casing and unit for moving tubes at working are mounted in frame. Said unit has gripping mechanism mounted in frame with possibility of motion along axis of apparatus and rotation around said axis and drives for moving and rotating gripping mechanism. The last includes two grippers arranged at different sides of stand, each gripper includes drives for moving and rotating it. Said drives are provided with clutches, rotation drive has overrunning clutch. Drives may be controlled at their common synchronized operation in mode of manual, remote or automatic control. Gripping mechanism has mandrel in the form of rod on which tube may be placed. One end of said rod may be placed in gripper; its other end has bead whose outer diameter exceeds inner diameter of tube and also may be placed in gripper.
