FIELD: operation of oil wells with use of sucker rod pumps. SUBSTANCE: joint gripping member is split with riffled internal surface and located under protrusion provided on end of sucker rod. Upper part of gripping member from outside is conjugated with body over cylindrical surface and lower part with removable bushing fixed in body and having internal surface corresponding to cone surface of gripping member. Internal cavity of body is isolated from effect of environment. Gripping member has external cone surface in lower part. Body upper part has thread for connection with polished rod. EFFECT: reliable engagement directly with rod body and operation of pump within rated loads. 1 dwg
