CLAMP FOR SUSPENSION OF SUCKER-ROD STRING Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: oil-producing industry. SUBSTANCE: clamp may be used in devices intended for repairs of wells provided with sucker-rod pumps, regulation of stroke of plunger of sucker-rod pump. Clamp has body with open recess. Dead end of open body has slider. Direction of recess coincides with direction of slider motion. Installed in body are slips. Slider is conjugated with one slip on wedge joint by rolling friction. Top of wedge is oriented by direction of gravity of sucker-rod string. The other slip is removable and installed at inlet of body open recess on joint. Slips are provided with removable plates with working surfaces. Material of plates is selected from conditions of its correspondence to different friction pair with clamped member. EFFECT: versatility and improved clamp technical characteristics. 2 dwg
