FIELD: mechanical engineering; piston engines and compressors. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine has cylinder block, cylinder head butt-joined with cylinder block and held on block by anchor bolts turned into cylinder block, cylinder liners placed in cylinder block bores. Upper end face of cylinder liners thrusts against cylinder head. Support plate installed in lower part of each linear presses the linear through its lower end face by means of bolts turned into head and arranged in through drilled holes of cylinder block. According to second design version, anchor bolts bracing cylinder head and cylinder block are made hollow and accommodate bolts bracing cylinder head and cylinder linear through support plate. According to third design version, which is simplified one, bolts pressing cylinder linear to cylinder head through support plate are turned into cylinder block. EFFECT: improved sealing of gas joint between cylinder block and cylinder head, simplified production, assembling and repair of engine. 4 cl, 3 dwg
