FIELD: power engineering industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of manufacture of metal sealing elements from bronze BrB2 used for sealing of detachable connections in power plant units. Bars of bronze BrB2 are set on preheated forging tools in steps. In every step (pass) deformation degree does not exceed 50%. After forgings are broached with formation of central hole workpieces are rolled out on preheated mandrel step by step with degree of deformation in each step not exceeding 50%. Workpieces are rolled out on rolling-out machine till required diameter of ring is obtained and then cooled down in water. Cooled-down workpieces are annealed at temperature of 400 ± 10 C, hardened at 790 ± 10 C, and aged at 400 ± 10 C.
