FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for the manufacture and heat treatment of predominantly small-sized parts such as collets, various contacts and connectors made of beryllium bronze BrB2, which are part of the coaxial-waveguide transition mainly in the space industry, and can also find application in electrical engineering and instrument making. Method for manufacturing beryllium bronze collet-type parts includes making billets from beryllium bronze, quenching them to 790±10°С and aging. The workpieces are made by heating for 40 minutes in an electric furnace at a temperature of 760°С, followed by free forging with a broach, when quenching the workpiece from beryllium bronze, it is kept for 15 minutes and cooled in water, the subsequent aging of the workpieces is carried out at a temperature of 250±10°С with an exposure of 30 minutes and cooled in air to the room temperature, then preliminary machining, heat treatment of the obtained workpieces of collets-type parts at 110°C with an exposure of 1 hour in a free state, then, in the workpieces of collet type parts, grooves are made in the petal zone, precipitation aging of collet type parts is carried out in a vacuum furnace with a residual pressure of 1×10-1…1×10-2 mm Hg, they are heated to a temperature of 310±10°С for 90-100 minutes, held for 120-150 minutes and cooled in an oven to 150-200°C, after which the final machining of the workpieces is carried out to obtain parts of the collet type.
EFFECT: dimensional stability is ensured, taking into account the high alignment requirements of small-sized collet-type parts, due to the use of beryllium bronze forgings.
