FIELD: shutters with rotary shut-off members used in systems for controlling flowrate of gas or liquid in different types of power generation equipment. SUBSTANCE: disc rotary valve includes hollow body having inlet and outlet ports, seat, shut-off member in the form of disc engaging with seat, mechanism in the form of cylinder-piston unit for moving shut-off member. Cylinder-piston unit is joined by means of joint-lever transmission with shut-off member. Cylinder-piston unit is controlled by means of system for applying controlling regulated pressure from outer source. Mechanism for moving shut-off member has two identical cylinder-piston units, both units are arranged diametrically opposite on valve body in plane normal relative to valve axis. Joint-lever transmission has at least two tension-compression springs secured symmetrically relative to valve axis at one side to disc and at other side - to rods. One rod has portion with lead non- self-braking thread engaging with reciprocal thread of body. Piston stroke in cylinder and lead angle of rod thread are mutually related by expression , where Ψ - lead angle of thread; dm - mean diameter of thread; Δ - piston stroke from position "Closed" to position "Open" at rotation of disc by angle π/2, equal to Δ = a(sinβ-sinα), where a -length of lever of joint-lever transmission, α,β - angles between lever and valve axis in positions "Closed" and "Open" respectively.
