FIELD: cinematography, entry of various symbols and marks on color and black-and-white film. SUBSTANCE: process of entry of information on film consists in element-by-element local evaporation of emulsion layer from base of film under action of laser radiation formed in correspondence with controlling signal by means of pulse laser. In this case energy density is controlled over radiation field of laser which involves measurement of distribution of energy density in at least four points of beam with its subsequent adjustment. Gear for realization of process includes pulse laser, collimator, optical deflecting system, focusing system, film conduit in film-pulling mechanism, optical control system and system controlling laser beam installed in sequence.
