FIELD: manufacture of photographic paper. SUBSTANCE: invention is used in process of manufacture of photographic paper carrying photographic emulsion of low- water content. Backing is pulled through bath with liquid mass where metal with low melting temperature is placed and heated to melting temperature creating traveling dying surface waves on surface of molten metal. Liquid mass contacting backing is supplied into troughs of waves. Backing is held above surface of bath by its pressing against bearing surface by crests of surface waves of molten metal. Surface waves are additionally formed on surface of molten metal by ultrasound and viscous liquid mass is utilized. EFFECT: decreased energy consumption during process. 1 dwg
