FIELD: protection of loads fed from pulsed power supply against periodic daily fluctuations of supply voltage. SUBSTANCE: device has semiconductor switch in the form of triac connected in series with load; in addition it is provided with newly introduced adjusting transistor connected across two diagonally opposite terminals of diode bridge; the latter is connected to triac gate electrode and cathode or anode circuit; adjusting transistor base is connected to center tap of RC circuit whose resistive input is connected to transistor collector and capacitive output, to transistor emitter. Device ensures normal operation of load at periodic daily fluctuations of supply voltage without disconnecting it and elimination of current pulse during load turn-on.
